British Beer Company Restaurants and Pubs, MIT Endicott House 50th Anniversary Celebration Join NCG Client Roster

HINGHAM, Mass., May 31, 2005 – Nahil Communications Group (NCG), a full service public relations and marketing communications agency, today announced the signing of two new clients, the British Beer Company Restaurants and Pubs and MIT Endicott House, a conference center owned and operated by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

British Beer Company

NCG will provide a full range of media and marketing services to the growing chain of restaurants and pubs that reflect and respect the traditions of the United Kingdom and Ireland. “Our corporate growth is entirely governed by our ability to deliver a realistic pub experience to both locals and visitors alike,” said Harry Gnong, British Beer Company partner. “We are singularly devoted to insuring that our patrons have a broad choice of beers and ales, a great selection of food from around the world, and constantly changing entertainment presentations.”

In Great Britain, Ireland and across Europe, the pub or “local” is the center of town life: a place to relax, refuel the body and the spirit, share news and be entertained. The pubs and restaurants of the British Beer Company deliver that same atmosphere and service to Americans today. An eclectic menu, unparalleled beer and cocktail choices, and an array of music nightly, make the British Beer Company the local destination for English pub-style fun, relaxation and refreshment.

Today, the British Beer Company Restaurant and Pubs can be found in Hyannis, Sandwich, Falmouth, Plymouth and Cedarville with more on the way. More complete information, including menus and entertainment schedules can be found on the company’s website, www.britishbeer.com.

MIT Endicott House

To honor the 50th anniversary of MIT’s stewardship of the historic Endicott residence and spacious grounds on Haven Street, Dedham, Mass., a series of commemorative events spread over a year, and the publication of a new book chronicling the history of both the property and the two residences that have crowned the site. will highlight the anniversary year. Since 1955, when the Endicott family donated the property to MIT, the university has employed the stately French country style manor and it’s richly landscaped grounds as a unique conference center and meeting place.

The Endicott House is a French style mansion which was designed by the prominent New York architect Charles Platt. It replaced an earlier house, “Rockweld” that had been built by the Civil War hero, Brigadier General Stephen Minot Weld. The property is also historically significant in that it is generally considered to be the site of the first great rock garden built in North America.

The Nahil Communications Group will be leading the formation of the 50th Anniversary Committee in the development of a media campaign, and events highlights. NCG is also writing the commemorative coffee table book entitled, “A Home On Haven Street.”
